Bosch Power Tools launches Lithium-ion powered cordless tools

Bosch Power Tools launched their most premium Lithium-ion powered cordless tools at Bangalore consisting of screw drivers, drill drivers, impact wrenches, multi cutter and rotary hammers.

It was first time ever that Bosch in India used a film star – Mr. Puneet Rajkumar fondly known as sandalwood’s “Power Star” to endorse the cordless range of products. The launch event was organized at the Oberoi hotel followed by a press meet.

Mr. Vijay Pandey, Regional Sales Director – Bosch Power Tools, India made a short presentation to the press on the advantages of cordless power tools to the Indian market and how the lithium ion technology in cordless tools can revolutionize the power tool
industry.

A small competition was organized between a carpenter and Mr. Puneet Rajkumar to create a wooden stool using the Bosch Cordless screw driver. Mr. Puneet won the competition in the fastest possible time and was branded the "POWER STAR". After this win, he spoke to the media and said, "It is an amazing product and I can understand how comfortable a professional carpenter would feel for the kind of jobs he takes up, the Bosc
power tool will make his life easier".

About 40 curious press personnel were present. Wide coverage was received in the mainlines, along with some technical publications and online media too.
