Launch of Bosch lithium-ion cordless tools

Bosch Power Tools launched its new range of Cordless Power Tools in New Delhi on 15th September 2010.

The scintillating press meet was attended by about forty five media personnel. The new range of Bosch Lithium-ion Cordless Tools was launched by none other than the Olympian Boxer Vijender Singh.

The objective was to showcase the power of lithium-ion technology, an innovative technology which is used in Bosch cordless range of power tools. A sporty go kart was fitted and powered by a 36 volt lithium-ion cordless screw driver - GSR 36 VLi. Vijender Singh drove this go kart around the venue much to the surprise of the eagerly waiting media personnel.

Addressing the press conference, Mr. Vijay Pandey said, “What professionals expect when they purchase a new cordless power tool is high power and performance, long lifetime, fast charging cycle as well as high level of user safety and compact design. The new range of cordless power tools combines all these features, and is bound to boost engineering standards. Innovation has always been at the heart of any of our offerings and we are positive that customers from across the nation will benefit with these new tools from Bosch.”

Speaking on the occasion, Vijender Singh said “In the boxing ring, the power comes from inside. But today, I have experienced a different kind of power. This is an amazing concept from Bosch Power Tools to showcase the power of Bosch cordless tools through this go kart. I am sure for Bosch power tools users, like electrician and carpenters this new range is going to be very useful”. He also said “B for Bosch, B for Boxing and both are brilliant”.
